BUEI TALKS: Great Gunpowder Plot 1775

Come out for an evening of TREASON! MURDER! and MYSTERY! There have been many inconsistencies, myths, and un-answerable questions about the Great Gunpowder Plot of 1775. Local author, Mike Marsh, will unfold this fascinating story and answer many of the questions. There will be signed copies of ‘The Defining Story of Bermuda’s Great Gunpowder Plot 1775’ available on the night and local artist and musician, Michael Cacy will perform for the first time a Folk-Calypso song about the plot. Peter Frith of the Bermuda National Trust will kick off the evening with a welcome.
5:00 – 6:30pm: Sushi Happy Hour at Harbourfront (specially priced drinks & sushi)
6pm: Harbourfront opens for dinner
7pm: Book signing
7:30pm: Lecture starts, BUEI Auditorium
