Jessica Fellowes discusses the real-life inspiration behind ‘Downton Abbey’ with the unique insight she has as niece of creator and writer, Julian Fellowes. Using images from the show and her five books, as well as her own behind-the-scenes photographs, clips that remind audiences of the show’s crisp humour and even audience interaction, she draws deft parallels between the Downton era and today. Fans of the show and history alike will enjoy her lively presence and easy telling of what it was like to be both at home with the family and behind the green baize door.
